Hey, I’m Ashley.
Welcome to The Wild Quay, home of all things me – design, illustration, photography, and an environmental mindset.
I am a passionate visual communicator, educating people about our planet – focusing not only on how we can preserve it, but how we can work together to make it better. I currently work as a graphic design specialist in sustainability and science communication at Arizona State University, where I work on projects ranging from print and digital brochures, to social media management, to animated video text segments, to leading the design and construction of a mobile sustainability exhibit. I’ve also helped develop sustainability education materials for both kids and the larger public as part of the annual ASU Sustainability Solutions Festival.
And, I have a lot of schooling that’s helped me grow in this field – 2 undergraduate degrees (BS in Geography, with an emphasis in water, environment, and society and a BFA in Visual Communication) and a masters (Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership) to be exact.
